PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device provided with a gear shaft for an idler gear which is easily attached to/detached from a housing by making the sear shaft composed of a projection part integrally molded with the housing, a wear resistant shaft surface part which is detachably fitted on the projection part and a fixing member for fixing these projection part and shaft surface member. SOLUTION: The projection part 2a is made of the same resin as that of the housing 2 of a developing device and integrally molded with the housing 2. The projection part 2a is covered with a hollow cylinder 14, to constitute the gear shaft and the idler gear 16 is fitted on the hollow cylinder 14. A thread is screwed in the hole of the end part of the projection part 2a, to fit the idler gear 16. At this time, the hollow cylinder 14 is longer than the projection part 2a, so that when the thread is screwed in the hole of the end part of the projection part 2a, pressing force is exerted toward the housing 2, on the cylinder 14 by the thread and a washer and the cylinder 14 is prevented from rotating with respect to the projection part 2a by the frictional force between the cylinder 14 and the housing 2. |
