The coupling (10) has a first positioning body for positioning a load carrier support unit and arranged on a ball neck (12) at defined distance from a coupling ball. The load carrier support unit is attached on the coupling ball and the ball neck. A positioning surface comprises a guide surface region, which is parallely extended to direction of the carrier support unit. The positioning surface is arranged on an outer side of the first positioning body. The first positioning body and a second positioning body are arranged on opposed sides of a longitudinal center plane of the ball neck. An independent claim is also included for a carrier holder.
