PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of optical characteristics due to adhesion of worn powder by providing an optical fiber switching device with a floating mechanism for displacing a moving side ferrule via a spacing in the advance and retreat direction and a direction perpendicular to the advance and retreat direction. SOLUTION: On a stage 5, plural moving members 7 of the same shape are juxtaposed. The respective moving members 7 are extend in the direction (advance and retreat direction) perpendicular pd to the surface of a fiber arranging board 2 and are made slidable in the advance and retreat direction on the stage 5 via a second linear quide.
