PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To previously detect the existence of obstacle, which hinders the traveling on a guide route, and to automatically set other route for bypassing this position, in which the obstacle exist. SOLUTION: This navigation system is provided with a CD block 6 having a CD-ROM, in which the map data including the road information is stored, a key block 5 for setting a starting point and a destination in the map data stored in the CD-ROM, a FM antenna 4, a FM tuner 14 and a FM multi decoder 15 for receiving the traffic information program of the FM character multi broadcasting, and a CPU 13 for computing a route from the starting point to the destination, which is set on the basis of the road information of the map data, and for recomputing other route different from the first route in the case where the traffic information related to the first route is input from the FM multi decoder 15. |
