Processing load of a distribution source and traffic between the distribution source and a radio base station, which are involved in repeatedly transmitting broadcast data, are reduced. A radio communication system includes a distribution device which distributes broadcast data or multicast data, and a radio base station. The radio base station 11 has saving means for saving broadcast data or multicast data received from a distribution device; and distribution means for repeatedly distributing the saved broadcast data or multicast data to a mobile station at a predetermined distribution timing ( FIG. 1 ). |
