A printing control apparatus (1, 21) includes a print commanding unit (2, 21) that sends a notice of printing data and printing start command to a printing unit (22) on sheets supplied from a normal tray or a bypass tray. The print commanding unit (2, 21) includes a condition determining unit (14, 15) that determines whether a sheet supplying condition set with respect to the printing data and a status of the printing unit (22) satisfy a condition for the bypass tray; a checkup screen display unit (4) that displays a checkup screen relating to the sheet supply from the bypass tray in a case where it is determined that the condition is satisfied; and a notice permitting unit (14, 15) that permits a notice of a printing start command in a case where a notice indicating agreement for printing is received. |
