<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor that prevents vibrations caused by whirling of the rotor. <P>SOLUTION: A rotor core 10 includes: an outer circumferential surface 11 where 2p (p is a natural number) pole faces that present opposite magnetic poles alternating in a circumferential direction are formed; cavities 13 that extend in a predetermined first angular range R1 in the circumferential direction in the vicinity of interpoles and between permanent magnets 20 and the outer circumferential surface 11 and that are 2p-fold symmetrical; and magnetic barrier portions 17 that are formed on outer circumferential sides of the permanent magnets 20. The first angular range R1 for one cavity 13 is rotated 360*N (N is a natural number from 1 to 2p)/(2p+1) to obtain second angular ranges R11 to R15. The first angular range R1 is rotated 360*M (M is a natural number from 1 to (2p-1))/2p to obtain third angular ranges R22 to R24. The third angular ranges R22 to R24 are excluded from the second angular ranges R11 to R15 to obtain fourth angular ranges R2 to R5. One of two circumferential ends of each of the magnetic barrier portions 17, on a side of the third angular ranges R22 to R24 excluded from the second angular ranges R11 to R15, is positioned in any one of the fourth angular ranges R2 to R5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
