<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive decontamination method and device which remove film accumulating on the bottom of a horizontal pipe of a primary pipe of a light water reactor during shutdown of the reactor. <P>SOLUTION: A primary pipe comprises: a horizontal pipe 1; a first vertical pipe 3 connected under the horizontal pipe 1; and a plurality of second vertical pipes 2 connected above the horizontal pipe 1 at intervals in a horizontal direction. A radioactive decontamination device comprises: a decontamination solution injection system 5 which is connected to the first vertical pipe 3 and can supply a decontamination solution to the first vertical pipe 3; and a steam injection system 6 which is connected to the first vertical pipe 3 and can supply steam to the first vertical pipe 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
