<p>The conversion efficiency of a one-output DC-DC converter is improved. The converter includes a controlling IC for two-output DC-DC converters provided with two error amplifiers, two PWM converters, and two output circuits. The switching of a first output element is controlled by means of a first input voltge terminal and a first output terminal of the controlling IC so as to feed a driving current from one end of an inductance. A smoothing circuit comprises a diode constituting a rectifier circuit and connected between the one end of the inductance and the ground potential and a capacitor connected between the other end of the inductance and the ground potential. A second control signal is generated complementarily to the first output element by using the second input terminal of the controlling IC, the second PWA comparator and the second output circuit. The ON period of the second control signal does not overlap with that of the fist control signal. The second output element parallel with the diode of the smoothing circuit is driven under the control of the second control signal.</p> |
