<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a label conversion table with a build-up storage capacity by setting an information transfer connection (VCI) different from a transmission reception direction and allowing each exchange to decide the reception VCI at setup. SOLUTION: In a network consisting of an exchange station A, a station B, and stations C, D 58, let two calls be set, which are sent from the station B54 to the station C and then the station D 58 via a relay line and sent from the station A to the station C and then the station D 58 via a relay line, then on the occurrence of a call from the B station 54 to the D station 58 via the C station, a start signal IMA is sent from the B station 54 to the C station. In this IMA reception processing, an internal VCI in an output line 7-1 of a self routing switch 1 providing an output to the B station 54 is supplemented to idle information VCI at a receiver side in an input line 5-1 from the start B station 54. When the supplement above is successful, other IMA signal is sent to the D station 58. After required processing is conducted, the IMA signal is sent to the D station 58.</p> |
