摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner excellent in productivity, which becomes a problem particularly in the use of an organic born compound, and having no problem of filming or fogging by providing a charge control agent consisting of a specified organic boron compound, and dispersing a metal oxide fine particle having a specified BET specific area into a binder resin. SOLUTION: In a toner having a coloring agent and a charge control agent dispersed in a binder resin, the charge control agent is formed of an organic boron compound represented by the formula, and a metal oxide fine particle having a BET specific area of 80-300m<2> /g is dispersed in the binder resin. In the formula, Z represents a residual group forming a ring together with adjacent oxygen atom and carbon atom, X represents cation, and (n) represents 1 to 2. As such metal oxides, silica, titania and alumina are usable. These metal oxide fine particles are preferably subjected to surface treatment with a hydrophobic agent and, as the agent, particularly, a one having a degree of hydrophobicity of 30 or more is preferably used.</p>
