<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device facilitating cleavage of a central breaking scheduled line of a door of the airbag device covered by an airbag cover having a pair of door parts deployed to a front side and a rear side respectively, reducing load given to the airbag at an initial stage of deployment of an inflator by enhancing smoothness of deployment of the airbag and not requiring severe reinforcement of the airbag and the airbag cover. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag device for the front passenger seat includes: the inflator 45 for jetting a gas; the airbag 50 folded and installed in an instrument panel 1, inflated by the gas of the inflator 45 and deployed to a front side of an occupant; the airbag cover for covering a deployment direction of the airbag 50 and having a pair of front and rear door scheduled parts including hinges 12, 13 at a front side and a rear side respectively; and a webbing seat 70 positioned between an airbag opposed part of any one of the front and rear door scheduled parts and the folded airbag 50 and including a superposed excessive part in the deployment direction of the airbag 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
