<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner excellent in development stability in various environments, uniform coatability on a developing sleeve and durability at the time of use repeated many times by incorporating particles contg. a specified multiple oxide treated with silicone oil. SOLUTION: This toner for developing an electrostatic charge image has toner particles contg. at least a bonding resin and a colorant and has particles contg. a multiple oxide treated with silicone oil. The multiple oxide is represented by the formula [M]a [Si]b Oc , wherein M is Sr, Mg, Zn, Co, Mn or Ce, each of (a) and (b) is an integer of 1-9 and (c) is an integer of 3-9. When the toner particles are triboelectrically charged by contact with the multiple oxide-contg. particles in a developing unit, the flowability of the toner particles is improved because the multiple oxide contains Si. By the treatment with silicone oil, untransfer and filming are prevented independently of the structure of a copying machine over a long period of time.</p> |
