<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high pressure generation device for measuring a pressure inside a pressure chamber without arranging a ruby piece therein, with lower cost and simpler method than those of a ruby fluorescence method and in which necessary measurement accuracy can be stably and simply obtained. <P>SOLUTION: In a diamond anvil cell 10 in which a high pressure is applied to a sample in a pressure room through a pressure medium, a sample S and a pressure medium T are filled in a pressure chamber R provided between two diamonds 12A, 12b which are respectively supported by diamond anvils 11A, 11B, and an urging force is transmitted by a compression spring 17 in a direction in which the diamonds 12A, 12B move close to each other. An amount of strain of the upper diamond anvil 11A is measured by strain gauges 1 and based on the measurement result, the pressure inside the pressure chamber R is measured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
