<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery of higher performance by obtaining a battery electrode while preventing fall of an active material. <P>SOLUTION: In the composition for battery electrode containing polyacrylic acid or polyacrylate (A) with an average molecular weight of 5,000 to 12,000 and a binder (B), the binder (B) is a carboxy-modified copolymer latex with the number average particle size of 50 to 300 nm, and that, a ratio of the weight average particle size to the number average particle size of the copolymer latex (weight average particle size/number average particle size) is 1.05 or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
