A series (11) of first slide blocks (7) in a track crossways to the strip direction in which the rolls are arranged to be rolled on the track. Each slide block rests on and is arranged to slide on a sloping plane, which slopes sideways away from the dividing plane (20') between a first and second roll where the rolls are in a position for separation. The series of first slide blocks has a length which is at least equal to that of the first roll (2) to be separated from the other roll (3). The first slide block slides on the sloping plane in the axial direction of the first roller under the influence of the weight of the first roller. This enables the first roller to be slightly removed from the second roller, corresponding to the slide block sliding extent in an axial direction. |
