摘要 Reducing disturbance during fiber optic sensing. An in-well fiber optic sensing system includes a device insulated to be disturbance-resistant. The device is in a fiber optic communication path between a source and a target configured to be received in a well. The device is configured to receive a parameter sensing signal transmitted from the source to the target and produce a reference signal. The fiber optic sensing system includes a signal interrogation system connected to the device in the fiber optic communication path. The signal interrogation system is configured to receive the reference signal from the device and to receive a response signal from the target in response to the parameter sensing signal. The response signal represents the parameter of interest. The signal interrogation system is configured to determine the parameter of interest based, in part, on the reference signal and the response signal.
