The control mechanism has a handlever (88) that controls a drive rod (30) traversing a rotary bar. A displacement compensation unit comprises a rigid adjustable height stop (60) against which the drive rod is supported in closing position, so as to locally limit the displacement of the drive rod at the level of one of the auxiliary single-pole cut-off blocks and to apply rotation torque to the drive rod for maintaining the drive rod parallel to a rotation axis (Z). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Cut-off device for use in a multi-pole circuit breaker i.e. four-pole circuit breaker.
