The present invention relates to a stopper rod. In the stopper rod (10) that opens and closes a tundish stopper (2) by using an operating force of a control device (1), the stopper rod (10) is provided with upper and lower fastening portions (20)(30) having male screw portions (22)(32) and nuts (24)(34) at both ends and is fixed to the control device (1) and the stopper (2) and the upper and lower fastening portions (20)(30) are provided with an expansion plate (40) so that the range of the application of the fastening force by the nuts (24)(34) expands. The lower fastening portion has an expansion step (36) where an inclined surface is provided on the male screw portion (32) and is provided to be in surface-contact with an inclined surface (2a) formed in the stopper (2). In a boundary portion where the expansion step (36) and the male screw portion (32) meet with each other, a concave groove (38) is formed. According to the present invention, upper and lower fastening portion screw coupling facilitates stopper installation and separation, and the increase in the contact area by the expansion step and the concave groove-based contact force improvement between the nuts, a washer, and a gasket allows the fastening force to be firmly maintained for the stopper. Accordingly, unwinding attributable to shrinkage caused by operation and temperature change can be prevented. |
