The present invention relates to an expansion excavation machine for soft ground, and a method of reinforcing the soft ground using the same. According to the present invention, the expansion excavation machine for the soft ground comprises: an excavation head (10) formed with an excavation bit on the front surface; a piston block (30) connected to a fixating head to enable to move forward and backward, and connected to rotate with the fixating head; a load (40) connected to the piston block; and an excavation type extension bit (20) wherein a central part is hinge-coupled and bent-type disposed between the excavation head and the piston block which is puckered by the forward movement of the piston block, and expanded by which both sides are respectively connected to the excavation head.
