<p>A method for changing a hidden channel of a digital television set is provided to enable a user to conveniently view a broadcasting program without switching a minor channel by switching a channel number of the hidden channel to a neighboring minor channel when the minor channel is changed to the hidden channel. It is determined whether a minor channel is changed to a hidden channel(S114). Minor channel information included in a major channel is obtained by analyzing channel information of the major channel including the hidden channel when the minor channel is changed to the hidden channel(S118). Other minor channel excluding the hidden channel is selected by analyzing the minor channel information(S120). A non-silent minor channel is switched when the selected minor channel is non-silent and is not the hidden channel.</p> |
