PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin formed body capable of applying as a building material or a structural material of transporting machine, excellent is shape retainability in the case of heating at high temperatures such as fire among resin materials used as building material, etc., especially in inorganic resin formed bodies. SOLUTION: This resin formed body is obtained by shaping inorganic materials consisting of a number of inorganic granules produced by aggregating inorganic fine particles in such a manner that the content of the inorganic materials becomes 30-90 wt.%. On an arbitrary cutting surface of the resin formed body, the total area which the inorganic particles occupy is 3% or more of the area of the resin formed body, and the average length of the inorganic granules expressed in terms of the diameter of the corresponding circle is <=40μm.
