The present invention relates to a method of correcting a tilt of a camera module capable of compensating for the tilt of a high resolution lens during an auto focusing camera module assembly process, and to an apparatus supporting the method. The camera module supporting the tilt correction method according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a housing; a lens assembly including at least one lens which is mounted in the housing and moved up and down in an optical axis direction; and a driving unit which generates driving power for moving the lens assembly and is disposed in a position facing the lens assembly and fixed in the housing by at least one detachable insertion member.
