<p>The present invention relates to a machine-to-machine communications method which comprises: a step of determining whether to search for a terminal to communicate with, or select a terminal to communicate with using pre-stored terminal information; a step of checking the existence of candidate terminals from the pre-stored terminal information, if a terminal to communicate with is determined to be selected using the pre-stored terminal information; a step of determining a terminal to communicate with from the candidate terminals, if the candidate terminals exist; a step of transmitting an invitation request message to the determined terminal; a step of setting up terminal-to-terminal security when receiving an invitation response message from the terminal to which the invitation request message is transmitted; and a step of performing communications with the security-set terminal. As a result, the present invention can reduce the time and power consumption of a terminal required for a terminal search which is performed each time when the terminal attempts to establish communications.</p> |
