PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte which has such characteristics that heat resistance, safety, electrochemical stability, and reliability are high and which, on top of that, exhibits extremely high ion conductivity in the technical field of lithium ion conductive solid electrolytes, and which is suitable as a solid electrolyte in lithium ion secondary batteries and various other electrochemical devices.SOLUTION: An inorganic solid electrolyte which contains lithium atoms and sulfur atoms is obtained from three kinds of essential components, as raw materials, composed of lithium sulfide, aluminum chalcogenide, and a compound of atoms of period table groups 13-15, where, letting the molar ratio of lithium sulfide in the raw materials of the three kinds of essential components be x, the molar ratio of aluminum chalcogenide be y, and the molar ratio of the compound of atoms of period table groups 13-15 be z, the equations x=65-75, y=1.0-4.5, z=100-x-y hold true. |
