<p>A low surface temperature radiator cover 1 for use in schools, healthcare premises, mental health accommodation and secure unit premises comprises a cabinet having grilles 5, 6 formed by a plurality of spaced bars 7 that are secured to the interior of the cabinet. A wire mesh sheet 8 defining apertures (G, Fig. 4) with dimensions less than 3mm is secured to the bars 7. The parts of the bars 7 exposed to the exterior of the cabinet are covered by a plastic sleeve (11, Fig. 2). The bars 7 comprise hollow tubes having a substantially oval cross-section, the minor axes of the oval profiles of the bars 7 being arranged parallel to one another and to the mesh sheet 8. The woven mesh sheet 8 has an open area of at least 60%.</p> |
