PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a line filter using a square-shaped core which has a terminal arrangement compatible with the terminal arrangement of a line filter, using a squareθ-shaped core by a central horizontal line without impeding the cost reduction. SOLUTION: A square-shaped core 2 on which winding 3, 4 are wound has such windings 3, 4 wound in a gear winding. The core 2 can be easily fixed by a core-fixing pawl 11 and a core-fixing pedestal 12 which are integrally formed with a terminal base 10. Four terminals 6 are mounted on this terminal base 10 with the same pitch as the terminal arrangement of a squareθ-shaped line filter by a central horizontal line and the windings 3, 4 have their ends entangled and connected with these four terminals 6.
