PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester powdered coating material for outdoor use which shows not only excellent weatherability and flexibility but also satisfactory coating appearance and stain resistance. SOLUTION: As a binder resin, use of a polyester resin wherein not less than 65 wt.% of the polycarboxylic acid components is isophthalic acid and addn. of a polyethylene wax with a 95% vol. particle diameter of <=14μm are combined. The powdered coating material is prepd. by mixing, melt-kneading and cooling followed by pulverizing of this polyester resin, a curing agent, a polyethylene wax in an amt. of 0.5-5 wt.% based on the added amt. of both the above materials and other conventional additives.
