The present invention relates to a nematicidal fertilizer composition comprising one or more amino acids and one or more micronutrient compounds. Also claimed is a method of controlling nematodes comprising applying to the locus one or more amino acids and one or more micronutrient compounds, and the use of a combination of one or more amino acids and one or more micronutrients in the control of nematodes. Preferably the nematode is one of Pratylenchus zeae, Meloidogyne javanica, Pratylenchus brachyurus, Meloidogyne exigua, Meloidogyne incognita, Heterodera glycines or Rotylenchulus reniformis and the plants are selected from sugarcane, soybean, coffee, cotton and corn. |
