PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a running speed competition ranking method and an apparatus for the same, capable of easily recognizing a determination line such as a goal line, easily adjusting the focus, light-dark, and contrast, and obtaining an image for precise ranking using a digital camera.SOLUTION: Using a CMOS capable of simultaneously reading image pixels of a digital camera for ranking in a running competition, a wide range is captured with wide area pixel region to display on a monitor, the camera position, focal point, and others are adjusted, a narrow pixel region including a determination line in the wide area pixel region is selected for setting, the narrow pixel region of the COMS only is selected for activation after capturing, the image data is stored in a large capacity memory, the image data of the narrow pixel region are imported in the large capacity memory sequentially by repeating the process in a prescribed interval, the image data stored in the large capacity memory are read out by the order of time lapse, the image data are arranged to create an entire synthesized image, and the ranking of the running competition is determined on the basis of the entire synthesized image. |
