<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote-controlled drain plug system, which allows a release wire to be easily pulled up through a drain port even when a drainage component is a structure with a depth (height), prevents the release wire from getting stuck due to a thick wall of a branch pipe during insertion, allowing smooth insertion of the release wire into the drainage component. <P>SOLUTION: A remote-controlled drain plug system is composed of: a tank 1; a drain port 2 opened at the bottom of the tank 1; a valve body 3 for opening/closing the drain port 2; a control part 4 to control the operation of the valve body 3; a release wire 5 that connects the control part 4 to the valve body 3 and transfers the force of the control part 4 to the valve body 3; and a drainage component 6, which, being placed below the tank 1 and right under the drain port 2, has the release wire 5 to pass through it, and discharges the sewage water in the tank 1 to a sewer.
