<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system for multi-direction time division multiplexed radio data to prevent transmission of erroneous data to a data communication channel even in the case that a bit error takes place in a data to be sent due to interference or fading caused in a radio block. SOLUTION: An error correction redundant bit obtained by applying error correction coding to a low speed continuous signal at an error correction coding circuit 23 is multiplexed on a specific idle slot on a radio frame by a multiplexer 25, and a continuous/burst signal conversion circuit 21 multiplexes a burst signal converted with interleaving in a prescribed time slot and the multiplexed signal is sent to a radio area. The burst signal is received by a burst/continuous signal conversion circuit 31, while a division circuit 33 applies division calculation to an error correction code in the continuous signal converted with de-interleaving to generate a syndrome. A error location detection circuit 34 locates a bit error position in the data based on the syndrome and an adder circuit 36 corrects the error bit.</p> |
