PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite particle which is suitable for a negative electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery using alloying reaction/de-alloying reaction between metal and lithium, high in capacity and superior in charge/discharge cycle characteristics, and also to provide a manufacturing method of the composite particle, a negative electrode for the lithium ion secondary battery using the same, and the lithium ion secondary battery.SOLUTION: The composite particle includes a metal A capable of electrochemically storing/releasing lithium, and a metal B which has conductivity higher than that of the metal A and also has lithium storing/releasing capacity lower than that of the metal A. In the composite particle, the powder electric resistance is 1×E1 Ω cm or more and 1×E8 Ω cm or less under pressure of 50 MPa. |
