<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna small in size while allowing two different types of radio communication. <P>SOLUTION: An antenna 40 is formed in a two-layered structure comprising: a differential linear antenna 41 including antenna elements 51 and 52 each having a specified length, positioned separately from each other in line symmetry with respect to a reference line; and a patch antenna 42 disposed in parallel with a plain surface on which the antenna elements 51 and 52 are arranged. The antenna elements 51 and 52 are supplied with voltages having polarities reverse to each other, and the patch antenna 42 is provided with feeding points in a region between virtual surfaces passing through extending lines of the antenna elements 51 and 52 and perpendicular to the patch antenna 42. Accordingly, the differential linear antenna 41 and the patch antenna 42 can independently perform communication without interfering each other, thereby allowing the antenna to be down-sized while performing different types of radio communications. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
