PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell sealing material with which a solar cell module can be formed easily, as well as having excellent adhesiveness, long-term stability in adhesive force, transparency, and heat resistance, and to provide the solar cell module produced using the same. SOLUTION: The solar cell sealing material includes at least an adhesive layer (layer (I)) and a layer (layer (II)) made of a resin composition (C) that contains an ethylene-α-olefin random copolymer (A) satisfying the following condition (a) and an ethylene-α-olefin block copolymer (B) satisfying the following condition (b). (a) The crystal melting heat quantity measured at a heating rate of 10°C/minute in differential scanning calorimetry is 0-70 J/g. (b) The crystal melting peak temperature measured at a heating rate of 10°C/minute in the differential scanning calorimetry is 100°C or higher, and the crystal melting heat quantity is 5-70 J/g.
