PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash comprising means for discharging gas in an internal space of a stile. SOLUTION: A sash comprises an openable/closable sliding screen. The sliding screen has stiles, a resin handhold part, and closing materials. The stile has an attachment hole formed on a face, and the handhold part is attached to the attachment hole. The closing material for closing an internal space of the stile is attached to the inside of the stile above the attachment hole. The closing material is made of a refractory material which is foamed by heat in the case of fire. When foamed, the refractory material vertically shuts off the inside of the stile.
