<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce latency in access request transmission when a buffer for storing an access request to an external device has no space. <P>SOLUTION: An external device access apparatus includes: a controller that has plural processing execution units each having a transmission processing module and a reception processing module for performing access processing on external devices and executes control by switching the processing execution units; a buffer for storing access requests to the external devices from the transmission processing modules; and a queue unit for storing information on the access requests when the buffer has no space. When receiving a response to the access request from the external device, the reception processing module performs response processing and releases the corresponding buffer. Then, when the queue unit stores the information on the access request, the reception processing module changes the information on the access request in the buffer and transmits an access request corresponding to the information on the access request to the corresponding external device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
