<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoacoustic engine capable of reducing the size and preventing waste energy. <P>SOLUTION: The thermoacoustic engine includes: a first loop pipe 3 in which a prime mover 2 converting thermal energy into acoustic energy is arranged; a second loop pipe 5 in which a receiver 4 converting acoustic energy into thermal energy is arranged; and a direct operated electric power generation prime mover 6 arranged between the first loop pipe 3 and the second loop pipe 5 and performing mutual conversion of acoustic energy and electric energy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
