<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a columnar bonded magnet to have high magnetic force and a low cogging property. <P>SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing the columnar bonded magnet having an N pole and an S pole magnetized alternately and axially into multiple magnetic poles includes the processes of: obtaining a compound by kneading magnetic powder and a resin; and molding the compound into the columnar bonded magnet while applying an orientation magnetic field, wherein the orientation magnetic field is produced by a magnet for orientation constituted by joining a plurality of magnets such that magnetic poles of the same polarity are opposed to each other, the orientation magnet is disposed so as to surround a cavity for molding the columnar bonded magnet, and magnetization directions of the magnets for orientation is inclined axially with respect to the diameter in radius directions of the columnar bonded magnet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
