PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable satisfactory printing and simple maintenance in a wet-type image forming machine. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a squeeze roller 9 for scraping carrier g1 in a liquid developer G on the surface of a photoreceptor 5, and two cleaning members 10 that are disposed upstream and downstream in the direction of the rotation of the squeeze roller 9 and are in contact with the surface of the squeeze roller 9. Here, in the cleaning members 10, the cleaning member 10a, on the upstream side in the direction of the rotation of the roller, is formed from a rigid member for scraping the liquid developer, and the cleaning member 10b on the downstream side in the direction of the rotation of the roller, is formed from a flexible member for cleaning the surface of the roller. |
