PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device with which a measure for dust can be applied and further the lowering of contrast can be prevented as well. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 11 is provided with a liquid crystal panel 12 having a liquid crystal layer between a pair of transparent substrates, thick glass plates 13 composed of white glass respectively stuck on the both sides of this liquid crystal panel 12 through soft resin layers 15 composed of soft adhesive agents or tacky adhesives, and polarizing plate 14 stuck on at least one of the thick glass plates 13 through the soft resin layer 15 composed of the soft adhesive agent or tacky adhesive. Concerning such a liquid crystal display device, since the thick glass plates 13 composed of white glass are respectively stuck on both the sides of the liquid crystal panel 12 through the soft resin layers composed of the soft adhesive agents or tacky adhesives, even when dust is stuck on the outer surface of this thick glass plate 13 or the surface of the polarizing plate, this dust is made out of the focal point of an image so as not to be projected in the image. |
