PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of restraining a transfer defect by charging a transfer rotating body so that the production of ozone is reduced when a toner image carrier with a toner image formed in order to form the toner image on a recording sheet and the transfer rotating body brought into contact with the toner image carrier in order to transfer the toner image on the toner image carrier are provided as an electrophotographic system. SOLUTION: As to this device A1, an electrifying belt 42, an exposing device 43, a developing device 44, a transfer belt 81 as a transfer rotating body, and a cleaning device 45 are arranged in a position facing a photoreceptor 41. The toner image formed on the photoreceptor 41 is electrostatically transferred to the recording sheet R by a charger 51 arranged in the position facing the photoreceptor 41 on the inside peripheral surface side of the belt 81. A voltage is impressed on the electrode layer of a charge sheet S1 brought into contact with the belt 81 and discharge is performed, and electrostatic charge is eliminated from the outside peripheral surface 811 of the transfer belt before transfer. |
