The present invention relates to a new structure of constructing a reinforced earth retaining wall which is resistant to instantaneously-occurred impact such as an earthquake. According to a structure of constructing a reinforced earth retaining wall of the present invention, a reinforcing connection member (C) includes a first reinforcing member (30) having a front end portion fixed to a retaining wall block (11); a second reinforcing member (40) having a rear end portion fixed to an inclined surface (A) of a cutting area; and an elastic connection unit (50) disposed between the first and second reinforcing members (30, 40), wherein the elastic connection unit (50) includes a cylinder (51) extended in the horizontal direction, and having a penetration hole (51a) formed on a rear surface and a front end portion connected to the rear end portion of the first reinforcing member (30); a slide member (52) disposed inside the cylinder (51) to be slidable in the horizontal direction; a connection bar (53) extended in a rear direction of the cylinder (51) from the rear surface of the slide member (52) by the penetration hole (51a), and connected to the front end portion of the second reinforcing member (40); and a resilient member (54) disposed between the rear surface of the slide member (52) and the inner rear surface of the cylinder (51) to resiliently press the cylinder (51) in the rear direction. Therefore, if great impact or vibration such as an earthquake occurs, the whole reinforcing connection member (C) is appropriately stretched by resilience to absorb the impact or vibration, thereby preventing the reinforcing connection member (C) from being broken and the strength of a main retaining wall body (B) from being weakened due to an anchor member (20) detached from the inclined surface (A) of the cutting area. |
