PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module which is superior in mechanical reliability and equipped with a second substrate having an advantage such as reduction of electromagnetic field radiation without deterioration in high frequency performance even when connected to a package.SOLUTION: In the optical module, side surfaces of a conductor pattern end on a multilayer ceramic substrate are metallized by a half via and castellation or the like in order to increase the mounting strength of a lead pin, and mechanism is provided at the multiplayer ceramic itself in order that a metallized position for at least one GND and signal is positioned by being dislocated in the signal transmission direction. |
