PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a molded sheet product, capable of efficiently manufacturing favorable products in which misalignment of patterns is suppressed. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a molded sheet product, which includes: supplying, to a thermoforming machine, a strip of a thermoplastic resin sheet having patterns thereon at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction by intermittent feed in which the sheet is moved and stopped alternately in the longitudinal direction, performing the intermittent feed while adjusting the position for stopping the pattern to a predetermined position relative to a molding die of the thermoforming machine, and thermally forming a thermoplastic resin sheet by the mold, whereby a molded sheet product provided with the patterns at predetermined positions is formed, a thermoplastic resin sheet provided with a plurality of position detection marks in the longitudinal direction at intervals corresponding to the intervals of the patterns is used, position detection units capable of detecting the position detection marks are provided to a path on which the position detection marks move by the intermittent feed, and then the intermittent feed is performed, so that the position of the pattern is thus controlled by the predetermined method.
