<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for measuring a coal charge level of a coke oven, which has compact and simple apparatus configuration, accurately and stably detects a coal charge level and easily maintained. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for measuring a coal charge level of a coke oven includes: a microwave transmitting and receiving means 20 arranged above a coal charging car 1; an antenna 22 connected to the means; and a reflection plate 23 which is disposed under the coal charging car 1 and includes a reflection face 23a inclined at an angle of 45 degrees to a coke oven side, and which is separated from a coal charging opening 102 of the coke oven 100 when coal C is charged, and moves right on the coal charging opening 102 at measurement time. After charging the coal C by the coal charging car 1, the reflection plate 23 is moved to right above the coal charging opening 102, and microwave M transmitted from the antenna 22 is reflected by the reflection plate 23 and transmitted to inside the coke oven 100 through the coal charging opening 102. Microwave M' reflected on a surface of the coal C' is made incident on the reflection plate 23 through the coal charging opening 102, and received by the antenna 22. On the basis of a time difference between transmission and reception of the microwave M, an accumulation level of the coal C' is calculated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
