<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor and a manufacturing method of the temperature sensor capable of increasing the durability. <P>SOLUTION: A temperature sensor includes: a metal tube extending in an axial direction with the closed front end; a temperature sensor element which has a leader line having a circular cross-section, which is electrically connected to a temperature sensing part, the electrical characteristic of which changes depending on the temperature, and is disposed at the front-end side within the tube; a relay line being welded with the leader line having a circular cross-section, the diameter of which is larger than that of the leader line and extending in the axial direction; and an insulator tube having a through-hole extending along the axial direction for allowing at least the relay line to go therethrough, which is disposed behind the temperature sensor element within the tube. The temperature sensor is configured so that the welded portion between the leader line and the relay line is positioned within the insulator tube, the relay line has a plane face in the portion welded with the leader line, and the plane face is formed so that the maximum thickness between the plane face portion and the opposite face thereof is reduced smaller than the diameter of the relay line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
