<p>A vehicle detecting device is disclosed. The vehicle detecting device according to an embodiment of the present invention is a vehicle detecting device which analyzes an image taken from a portion ahead of a vehicle to detect a light source of a preceding vehicle, comprising: a lens unit; an imaging element which senses light passing through the lens unit and converts the sensed light into an electrical signal; and a filter unit which filters the light entering the lens unit by beam splitting such that the light source ahead of the vehicle can be represented distinctively in contrast to a reflecting object reflecting the light from the light source, and provides the filtered light to the lens unit.</p> |
