<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cation exchange membrane, producible of the cation exchange membrane by using a substrate material sheet consisting of a polyolefin-based resin, excellent in close adhesion of the substrate material sheet with the cation exchange resin and also having less fear of forming pin holes. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the cation exchange resin membrane includes attaching a styrene sulfonic acid ester expressed by formula (1) [wherein, R is 1-7C alkyl] to the substrate material sheet consisting of the polyolefin-based resin, then performing polymerization reaction, and then hydrolyzing the sulfonic acid ester group in the obtained polymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
