<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side air bag device capable of preventing an air bag body before inflation from getting into a space between a vehicle body and an object. <P>SOLUTION: The air bag body 20 includes an outer bag body coming into contact with an occupant, and an inner tube provided inside the outer bag body, inflated by inflow of a gas from an inflator 30, and arranged in a manner that a longitudinal side direction S during the deployment is set in a substantially vertical direction. The air bag body 20 is folded into a roll-like shape, after a lower part 20b thereof is folded in a direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal side direction S of the inner tube 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
